2017 ford mustang recalled to fix door handles: nearly 5,800 vehicles affected

This morning, Ford Motor Company announced the recall of nearly 5,800 Ford Mustang cars from the 2017 model year.
The automaker said that some of the cars may have problems with door handles, which may increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision.

If the internal door handle return spring is untied, the inertia load experienced by the internal door handle may cause the door to be untied during the side collision, increasing the risk of injury in the collision.
\"The recall affected Ford\'s 2017 Mustang cars built at the Pingshi assembly plant from January 13-20, 2017 to January 31.
Ford says there are 5,756 cars registered in North America: 5,470 in the United States. S.
266 vehicles in Canada and 20 vehicles in Mexico will be mailed to the owner of the affected vehicle to request them to arrange repairs through local dealers.
The dealer will check the return spring on the left-

The repair will be made to the owner for free.
